Mr. Silbaugh is a partner of Kievit & Silbaugh. He has more than twenty-five years of experience in real estate transactions, including shopping centers, condominium communities, and residential real estate development. He also practices in the areas of estate and business planning. He graduated from the Pennsylvania State University, with highest distinction, and Notre Dame University School of Law, cum laude, where he was an Administrative Editor of the Law Review.
Mr. Silbaugh has had several articles published dealing with real estate and estate planning issues. He is a member of the Butler County, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, Texas and American Bar Associations, and is licensed to practice before the Pennsylvania and Texas Courts as well as all Federal Courts, including the United States Supreme Court. He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, the Butler Board of Realtors, is an agent for Chicago Title Insurance Company and Stewart Title Company and is past Secretary of International Association of Financial Planners, Pittsburgh Chapter.
Nicole is the newest addition to Kievit & Silbaugh and managing partner. She has a background in criminal and family law, bringing even more diversity to Kievit & Silbaugh. Nicole’s background spans all aspects of family law, including divorce, custody, support matters (both child and spousal), protection from abuse, adoptions and juvenile matters. Nicole also practices in the areas of estate planning and administration as well as real estate matters.
Nicole graduated from The Ohio State University and Capital University Law School. Nicole worked for the Federal Public Defender’s Office for the Southern District of Ohio as well as the Juvenile Public Defender’s Office for Franklin County in Columbus, Ohio. She started as an associate with Kievit & Silbaugh after completing her clerkship with the Honorable Kelley Streib in Butler County, Pennsylvania. She is a member of the American, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Butler Bar Associations. Nicole is also an active member of the Wills for Heroes of Butler County, the Young Lawyers’ Division of Butler County and the Pennsylvania Bar Association as well as the Bar Leaders Institute with the Pennsylvania Bar Association. Nicole is licensed to practice before the Pennsylvania and Ohio Courts as well as the Pennsylvania Federal Court.
